If you are inquiring about the annual Cityfolk Festival, Cityfolk's concert season, or Cityfolk's Culture Builds Community education program, we are sad to say that Cityfolk no longer exists. After more than 30 years of bringing traditional music and diverse cultures to Dayton stages, Cityfolk has closed its doors.
Continuing the Cityfolk legacy, the University of Dayton will continue to offer diverse music that once made up Cityfolk's World Rhythms Series. This series was part of the University's larger Arts Series. Additionally, with Cityfolk endowment funds specifically for the purpose of presenting jazz, the University will expand the Arts Series to include jazz artists.
All other Cityfolk programs have been terminated.
